Minimum Aviation Safety Training (MAST)

Operating safe and efficient air transport services and ensuring support facilities and personnel are compliant with requirements is fundamental to successful business performance and is critical for avoiding possible aviation incidents and or accidents.

Providing advice and specialist aviation support to oil and gas and other companies (clients) worldwide involves interfacing with managers in the client organisation. For most of these individuals, maintaining an oversight of aviation activities is not their primary company role and, quite understandably, the level of understanding of requirements is variable.

Since 2021, AviateQ has been delivering its Minimum Aviation Safety Training (MAST) course, specifically designed for managers who are not aviation professionals, but whose duties include the oversight and supervision of air operations.

The course can be tailored to individual needs with the full course delivered over four days and includes:

  • Fixed Wing Operations & Performance

  • Helicopter Operations & Performance

  • Continuing Airworthiness

  • Aircraft Maintenance

  • Helicopter Certification – Large Rotorcraft

  • Helicopters Operating in the Offshore Environment

  • CAP 437 Offshore Helidecks

  • Offshore Helicopter Refuelling

The course offers the opportunity to take the controls during a one-to-one fixed wing and helicopter flying lesson with a professional instructor where you can put your new found knowledge into practice. Please feel free to contact us today.
