AviateQ provides helideck safety and compliance oversight inspections and helideck certification services in support of energy companies, helicopter operators, facility and vessel owners.

Our services, individually tailored to the requirements of the client, are based on the regulatory authority concerned. Applicable regulations include;

Helideck inspections and audits include a safety review of the helideck and its surrounding environment covering the following key criteria:

  • Certificates, Manuals, Procedures & Helideck Drawings

  • Helideck Surface/Dimension & Markings

  • Helideck and Perimeter Netting

  • Access/Obstructions/Turbulence

  • Lighting Systems

  • Helideck Firefighting & Crash Rescue Equipment

  • Communication, Meteorological & Surveillance Equipment

  • Firefighting Protective Clothing/Helideck Crew

  • Helideck Crew Training & Experience

  • Helicopter Administration & Passengers Handling

  • Dangerous Goods By Air

  • Refuelling Systems (Where Required)

Ensuring transparency, all audits and inspections are hosted on our Aviation Compliance Operations Management System (AVCOMS) with access granted to authorised facility managers, operator personnel and customer focal points through robust user controls. This allows clients to view and, as appropriate, access helideck certificates, manuals, photos and videos which have been uploaded.

The follow-up to close out of non-compliant items or areas identified for improvement are tracked live on the system are visible to authorised users.

A detailed report and, as applicable, a Landing Area Certificate is issued.
